Music builds bridges
Since 2007, the Beyond Foundation has been supporting music projects at home and abroad, building bridges between cultures and religions and protecting traditional music from extinction. It promotes projects in research and education to strengthen consciousness and spiritual growth. There is music in every culture. All people, up to the most isolated tribesmen, create music as one of their forms of expression. Music traditions form our spiritual roots. In a globalized world, it is vital to preserve the versatility of musical traditions.
Beyond Cultures
Mutual understanding is the only way to peaceful coexistence. We believe that it is important to preserve ethnic identities and encourage cultural exchange. We enable projects for immigrants and local children/young people that promote intercultural understanding through music.

Bhutan Project
Album Rituals for the preservation and education of ancient Buddhist chants. All schools in Bhutan received a CD in order to learn about their heritage of monks singing at the famous monastery, Punakha Dzong. Produced by Martin Hess

Sun dal Engiadina
From a vision to reality – Meditation and Lounge Music based on traditional folk melodies and local sounds from the Engadin in Switzerland. The musicians Domenic and Curdin Janett, Pius Baumgartner and Robert Mark transform traditional music into atmospheric ambiences for modern times.

Alpenton Festival 2019
