This music is a praise to all divine Mothers, goddesses and saints, to the female power within all of us. Unconditional love is powerfully shown in the symboles of the Divine Mother of all faiths and cultures, religious and non religious. Compassion and love is the all embracing sound of the heart.
On this CD we have Tina chanting Baptist prayers from her childhood and imparting the overall spiritual message "love within", Dechen singing Buddhist mantras, Regula Christian prayers and Sawani Hindu mantras. As on the platinum nominated album BEYOND the four singers have been undertaking the challenge of merging eastern and western music and overlapping their prayers in one song. They have succeeded in creating a universal and passionate sound. Their singing will help you to nourish values like love, kindness and compassion, forgiveness and tolerance.

Regula is founder of the Center Seeschau, House of Sacred Arts, in Zurich (Switzerland). As a musician and singer she has successfully released four albums worldwide with Tina Turner and dedicated singers from different cultures and religions. Beyond music is born from a vision for global understanding, peace and tolerance. Regula is dedicated to the unifying and healing power of music. Since 2018 she has also been active worldwide with her online platform Beyond Music.

The legendary Tina Turner, "Queen of Rock and Roll", grew up in the Baptist tradition. In difficult times she found strengthening and healing through chanting the Buddhist mantra Nam Myoho Renge Kyo. Since 2009 she has dedicated her passion, wisdom and incomparable voice to Beyond music projects. Her income from the Beyond albums flows into charity. Today she lives in Switzerland.

Dechen is a native Tibetan artist who lives in Switzerland. Singing and performing Tibetan songs and dances, which she learned from her mother, was always a part of her life. She started her musical journey only 12 years ago. Dechen has produced several albums. The last is named Jewel “a joyful heart through precious Tibetan mantras”. Highlights of her career was a concert given at Carnegie Hall in New York and the cooperation with Regula Curti and Tina Turner for Beyond. Dechen feels very happy to reveal the treasures of her culture and to open hearts to the ancient wisdom of Buddhism.

Sawani is the torchbearer of the great Indian Classical Music tradition. She has received excellent training from her Gurus, Smt. Kusum Shende (grandmother), Dr. Sanjeev Shende (father) and Dr. Veena Sahasrabuddhe. She has performed worldwide enthralling the audience with her soulful singing. Sawani is on-board Beyond for the second time! She lives in Pune (India).

Singing takes you Beyond

Buddhist and Christian prayers featuring Tina Turner, Dechen Shak-Dagsay and Regula Curti. With the Beyond album we wish to share our vision that whoever we may be, whatever religion we may come to – when ever we pray from our heart, a transformation takes place and we find ourselves “beyond right and wrong”. It is our deepest believe that love and compassion are the unifying essence of every religion. On this CD we have Tina chanting three Buddhist prayers from the Nichiren tradition and imparting the overall spiritual message, Dechen singing Buddhist mantras and Regula Christian prayers. While singing their prayers in an overlapping and interwoven way, the three women gained a deep respect for each other. We wish to share this boundless love, joy and respect for the benefit of all.

Children Beyond

We are One

30 children from different cultures and nations sing prayers and mantras together. This album is a contribution to promote the spiritual development of children and serves the education of tolerance and peace. The new edition contains the additional song "Breathing in Breathing out" for the meditation of mindful breathing. (Lyrics by Thich Nhat Hanh)

Awakening Beyond

A Note of Hope

In 2016 the project blossomed to include six singers from six different cultures and an orchestra. The resulting double-album, «Awakening Beyond» features lyrics, prayers and lullabies sung by Regula Curti from Zurich, Switzerland; Ani Choying from Kathmandu, Nepal; Dima Orsho from Damascus, Syria/USA; Sawani Shende Sathaye from Pune, India; and Mor Karbasi, from Jerusalem, Israel. Tina Turner from Switzerland/USA speaks the spiritual and universal message. Specially qualified musicians were engaged to perform the authentic sounds of each culture with traditional instruments. The original score was written by Syrian-American composer and producer Kareem Roustom and the soundtrack was performed by the world-renown Philharmonia Orchestra London and recorded at historic Abbey Road studio.

Beyond Music Vol.1 SAME SKY

Better together

The project started on our virtual platform Beyond Music. The modern technology opened up a new way to meet and to collaborate among musicians, composers and songwriters from different cultures and backgrounds. Many inspiring voices and musicians connected. Together they created and submitted 110 compositions. The artists were invited to write songs and pieces on the theme of love, compassion and empathy. With the help of legendary producer and Grammy award winner Larry Klein, 10 songs were chosen for the first album. 23 musicians from 17 countries met at the Studios La Fabrique, one of the world leading studios in the South of France. An extraordinary human experience, not only for the invited artists, but also for the fantastic studio musicians and all the backstage people who brought their experience and expertise to celebrate the »same sky«.

Beyond Music Vol.2 SAME PLANET

An anthem to our precious planet Earth

The 60 artists from 26 countries represented on the album have collaborated across all difficulties and their isolations during the 2020 virus pandemic. Their 16 songs on the theme of "Songs for the Planet" are as diverse as the artists on our platform: they are about climate change, the extinction of endangered animals and plants, the protection of our children and women, the call for reconciliation of our planet Earth with its inhabitants, the concern about our future and a new awareness to interact with each other in this world. We named the album "Same Planet" because we are all connected and a solution to the problems can only be found if we all take responsibility together.

Beyond Music Vol.3 CONFLICT

Portraying conflicts through music

The 54 artists involved in the album Vol.3 are as diverse as their views on the theme of "conflict". Coming from 40 different countries, their approaches to the musical leitmotif were very different. One song addresses the global refugee crisis, another the ecological conflict between us humans and our planet Earth. Some songs embody "conflict" through their instrumental arrangement, others through the clash of different musical styles. Most of the pieces are about an inner chaos tied to the challenge of finding one's place in this turbulent world. The compositions on Vol.3 are methods of dealing with conflict and transforming it into the one language that connects us all: Music.
